Parts of Plants

This are exercises from the course “Processual Design Basics” to which I participated in spring semester 2013.We visited the Biosphere Potsdam to take photos of leaves and other plant parts. These pictures were printed out and reproduced with a black/white photocopier to scale slightly larger, which made a great raster effect.

Finally I cut the copies and arranged them to plant-like shapes. The rest is just a photo and a bit color correction with Photoshop. This process had appear these beautiful images.
