Recycle Sound

Recycle Sound is a music visualization.

The visualization draws a spiral while a song is played. The size and color of the dots depend on the sound data. For every song one FFT band was selected manually to highlight the characteristics of the particular track. The speed is fixed and the expansion of the spiral depends on song length and canvas size.

The Final Medium

A poster print of the visualization is used as the final medium. A beautiful paper material was perfect for the presentation. The title and artist are written on the final print to inform the viewer which song is being visualized. The signature disappears on a dark background and can be seen only at a second glance. The visualization and the characteristics should be noticed first.
